Top 7 Facebook Ads Experts Sydney - A list That Zuck would be proud of.

If you’re here, your Facebook Ads probably aren’t delivering what they should.

Maybe your CPL is creeping up. Maybe your “scaling strategy” hasn’t changed in months. Or maybe you’re tired of waiting days for a creative tweak while your competitors are stealing your clicks.

Most businesses don’t fail on Facebook because the platform doesn’t work.

They fail because their campaigns are slow, bloated, or missing the key elements that make ads convert.

This is the list Mark Zuckerberg himself would be proud of — Sydney’s most capable Facebook Ads specialists, the ones who know how to work with the algorithm instead of fighting it.

The truth is, there are two main ways to run Facebook Ads:

  • Independent experts and boutique specialists — lean, agile, and built for speed.
  • Larger agencies — multi-service teams that can be a fit for businesses needing more than just ads, but often with higher costs and slower turnarounds.

Here’s our take on the 7 most capable Facebook Ads specialists in Sydney in 2026 and how they compare.

1. Nicreated – Nick Cao (Independent Facebook Ads Expert) nicreated.com.au

Specialty: High-ROI Facebook Ads campaigns for lead generation and e-commerce.

Led by Sydney-based strategist Nick Cao, Nicreated focuses on what makes Facebook Ads profitable: the right copy, creative, and targeting — tested and scaled fast. There’s no account manager buffer. You deal directly with the strategist running your campaigns.

Why he's #1 on this list: Nick doesn’t run Facebook Ads like an agency, he runs them like a trader managing capital. Every test, creative, and budget decision is tied to cost per lead and return on ad spend. With direct access to the strategist and same-day optimisations, campaigns move faster, scale sooner, and waste less budget. For businesses that care about profitable growth, that speed and accountability is what puts Nicreated at the top.

Best for: Businesses that value speed, transparency, and direct access to expertise.

2. Defiant Digital (Agency) defiantdigital.com.au

Specialty: Bold, performance-driven Facebook Ads campaigns with creative that stands out in the feed.

Defiant Digital focuses on high-converting creative backed by data-driven strategy. They position themselves as a performance agency first, which makes them a strong choice for brands that want aggressive scaling and eye-catching ad production.

Best for: Businesses that want creative-led Facebook Ads with a strong focus on ROAS.

3. Megaphone Marketing (Agency, Erskineville) megaphone.com.au

Specialty: Creative production plus Facebook Ads management.

Megaphone Marketing is well-known nationally and delivers strong creative assets alongside campaign management. They’re ideal for brands that want a high volume of creative variations produced in-house, but like most large agencies, you won’t work directly with the head strategist.

Best for: Brands wanting strong creative production and don’t mind the slower pace.

4. Gorilla 360 (Agency) gorilla360.com.au

Specialty: Facebook Ads campaigns built on a strategic, data-backed approach paired with a focus on clear communication and client education.

Gorilla 360’s Sydney team delivers Facebook Ads with an emphasis on measurable results and transparency. They take the time to explain the “why” behind campaign decisions, making them a good fit for businesses that want to be more involved in the strategy while still getting agency-level execution.

Best for: Businesses that value transparency, education, and a collaborative approach to their Facebook Ads.

5. Sydney Digital Marketing Agency (Agency) sydneydigitalmarketing.com.au

Specialty: Quality lead generation via Facebook Ads.

They focus on generating high-quality leads over sheer volume. Which works well for high-ticket service businesses. But the agency model means you’ll still work through account managers.

Best for: Brands with a premium offer and longer sales cycles.

6.  Alvi Consulting – (One-on-One Facebook Ads Consultant) alviconsulting.com.au

Specialty: Dedicated Facebook Ads consulting (you work 1-on-1, not through account managers)

Based in Sydney, Alvi promises open communication, lower cost per lead, direct consultant access, and no offshore freelancers.

Best for: Businesses that want the feel of a boutique, high-touch consultant without the layers of an agency.

7. Growth Digital (Consultancy) growthdigital.com.au

Specialty: Data-led Facebook Ads strategies.

Growth Digital focuses on analytics and testing to refine campaigns over time. Strong for businesses with a long-term growth horizon, but less ideal for those who need fast, aggressive pivots.

Best for: Businesses prioritising steady, measured growth.

How to Choose the Right Facebook Ads Partner in Sydney

If you want speed, direct communication, and the ability to pivot on a dime, an independent expert will almost always be the better choice.

If you need multi-service support, in-house creative production, or enterprise-scale project management, then a larger agency might be the fit. Just be prepared for higher costs and slower turnaround.

In Facebook Ads, speed is profit. The right partner will make sure you don’t just spend — you scale.

  • Are Facebook Ads still effective in 2026?

Yes. With over 15 million active users in Australia and granular targeting options, Facebook Ads remain a powerful channel when executed with strategy and attention to creative quality.

  • What is a sensible starting budget for Facebook Ads in Australia?

Budgets vary, but $30–$150/day is realistic for businesses testing the waters. Focus your early spend on the best-performing ads and audiences — not on mass reach.

  • Can local businesses in Sydney get real results from Facebook Ads?

Definitely. Sydney-specific targeting — down to suburb level lets you reach the exact audience that matters. Local imagery and messages that resonate culturally can also boost engagement dramatically.

  • Should I work with an agency or manage my ads in-house?

You can manage them yourself, but scale and profit usually come from experience, consistent testing, and statistics which is what an expert brings. It’s not about who manages the ads. It’s about who makes results happen fastest.

  • How do I track and measure Facebook Ads success?

Use Meta's Ads Manager and install the Meta Pixel. Track cost per lead, conversion rate, and return on ad spend. Reviews, client feedback, and lead quality are equally crucial success signals.

  • Image vs video ads — which delivers better performance?

Image ads win for speed and cost-efficiency. Once effective hooks are found, video variants can help deepen engagement and boost conversion, especially on mobile and social feeds.

  • How frequently should I refresh ad creative and offers?

To avoid ad fatigue: refresh prospecting ads every 1–3 weeks; retargeting ads every 4–6 weeks. But performance data should guide you, not arbitrary timelines.

A true story about blended ROAS, multi-touch attribution, and the most expensive mistake business owners make with their ad budgets. Last year I had a client. Let's call him David. Not his real name. Real story. David sold a premium Aussie product. He was spending around $12,000 a month on ads. Seven on Meta, five on Google. One Monday he rang me, very pleased with himself. "Nick, I'm cutting Meta. Meta's ROAS is 1.8. Google's is 6.4. Why am I paying Zuckerberg to lose money?" It sounded like the most logical thing a human being could possibly say. My gut said don't do it. I'd seen this exact pattern half a dozen times. The healthy brand search. The suspiciously high Google ROAS. The Meta number that looked worse than it really was. It had the fingerprints of a feeder channel doing quiet, unglamorous work. I told David. He insisted. The client is the client. So I let him do it. Six weeks later, revenue had dropped 41%. Google's spend had doubled. Google's ROAS had collapsed from 6.4 to 2.9. Branded search had quietly cratered. His Shopify dashboard looked like a man holding a melting ice cream in the rain. He hadn't cut the bad channel. He'd cut the engine feeding the good one. The number that actually matters Here's the question David never asked. While his blended ROAS was sitting at 4.0, why did it matter that Meta looked weak? It didn't. That's the whole point. Blended ROAS is total revenue divided by total ad spend across every channel in the same period. That's the entire formula. It doesn't care what Meta claims. It doesn't care what Google claims. Platforms don't get a vote. The denominator is total money out. The numerator is total money in. The bank account decides. Before David cut Meta: $12,000 spend, $48,000 revenue. Blended ROAS of 5.0. After: $10,000 spend, $29,000 revenue. Blended ROAS of 2.9. If the blended number is healthy, the machine is working. Full stop. You don't need to surgically optimise the channel that looks ugliest in isolation. You need to keep the whole thing humming. Channel reporting is never 100% accurate The Singular ROI Index 2026, a global mobile ad benchmark, found that Meta campaigns measured under multi-touch attribution show up to 50% higher ROAS than the same campaigns measured under last-click. Industry overlap analysis suggests 30 to 60% of conversions across multi-channel accounts involve more than one channel touching the customer, meaning a meaningful share of sales get claimed by multiple platforms at the same time. Then Meta changed its attribution model in March 2026, redefined what counts as a click, and most accounts saw their reported numbers drop overnight. Nothing about the actual business changed. Only the dashboard did. Meta sees Meta. Google sees Google. Neither sees the customer who watched a Reel, forgot the brand name, Googled it three days later, abandoned a cart, opened an email on Sunday, and finally bought on Tuesday. If you optimise to a number that's wrong by a margin you can't see, you'll make confident decisions that destroy your business. Like David did. This is where human judgment earns its keep You can buy software that promises to fix attribution. Triple Whale. Northbeam. Rockerbox. They're useful. They're also not the answer on their own. They give you better data. They don't tell you what to do with it. The call David needed wasn't in any dashboard. It was the call that said: "Your blended ROAS is 5.0. Your brand search is climbing. Your Meta number looks bad in isolation because Meta is doing the work Google is getting credit for. Don't touch it." That call comes from having watched this exact movie play out across hundreds of accounts and knowing how it ends. This is what years of doing the job actually buys you. Not certainty. Pattern recognition. Knowing which weak-looking channels are doing real work behind the scenes, and which weak-looking channels are genuinely weak. A junior media buyer reads the dashboard and reacts. Someone who's seen the pattern reads the dashboard, ignores the obvious move, and makes the right call anyway. We turned David's Meta back on. Blended ROAS climbed to 5.7. Branded search returned. The platforms are interested parties, each selling you a version of reality that flatters its own bill. Your blended ROAS is the only number none of them can spin. And the judgment to trust it, even when one channel looks ugly, is the difference between scaling a business and accidentally dismantling one.
